Total Life – Burner

I can’t say I was at all familiar with Total Life before coming across this release, but Burner is a very good release. With two ~20 minute pieces, Total Life’s Kevin Doria creates warm sounding, meditative drones to bliss out to.

Warm sounding, fuzzed out layers of  repetitive blissful drone create a huge wall of mechanical sound, yet it’s meditatively repetitive, ebbing and flowing with soft walls of sound, this is an album to simply close your eyes and bliss out to, letting go of your thoughts and just drifting off into a warm fuzzy state of relaxation. Best enjoyed with high volume, Burner is an album that will empty your head of thoughts, replacing them with a huge yet lovely calming wall of droning goodness. Listen and relax after a tough day.
